geyerwally and NellieB. met through a mutual friend, walking on a cemetery of all places! But our dear friend knew that we would instantly click and indeed, we did!
We both share love for beautiful things, from as little as a glitter brad to as big as a whole mountain range, that surrounds an ocean bay. Yes, we like to see the pretty things in life, and that is why we prettify items we need on a daily basis, such as matchboxes, sticky note holders, tea lights and candles, books, journals.... So, when we met, we discovered our common love for crafting, and soon after, met for our first playdate with paper, glitter, decoupage and more. We found ways to combine our crafts: NellieB.'s altered matchboxes are the best companions for geyerwally's stamped tea-lights, and packaged together, they just make the most stunning gifts:
We are having so much fun stamping and crafting together, that we make so much more than we could keep for ourselves and we needed to share with more people. We decided to give it a try at local art- and craft shows, and found that many, many people love our treasures as much as we do.
Well, and here we go: Match, Light & Paper is about 2 gals, who see the beauty in life, who love to craft, who put a lot of love in their work, who venture out to meet new people and share their items with them.
